On March 4 2024, the National Unity Government Representative Office to Australia, Myanmar Campaign Network, Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU), Australian Council for International Development (ACFID), CRPH/NUG Support Group Australia, and SEARCH Foundation, hosted the Myanmar Peoples Summit.
Held at United Workers Union offices, Melbourne, on 4 March 2024, the summit represented a unified stand against the military coup of 1 February 2021 and an endorsement of the National Unity Government (NUG) of Myanmar.
